Soccer Academy at the Alamance County Community YMCA
Introduce your child to the fundamentals of soccer with our Parent & Me Rookie Soccer Academy, designed for kids ages 4-6. This program uses fun, age-appropriate games, skill drills, and light competition to help young players learn the basics of soccer while bonding with a parent or guardian.
Program Highlights:
- Seven 45-minute sessions led by experienced YMCA staff
- Small fields and goals for age-appropriate play
- Focus on soccer skills, teamwork, and coordination
- Fun and engaging drills designed to build confidence and basic technique
Parent Participation Required:
A parent or sibling 10 years or older must participate alongside each child, providing one-on-one support and encouragement throughout the session.
