
Leaders in Training (LIT) Program | Alamance County Community YMCA
The Leaders in Training (LIT) Program is designed for rising 9th and 10th graders ready to build leadership skills and gain valuable experience working with children. This hands-on program helps teens develop confidence, communication, and teamwork while learning from experienced YMCA staff.
Program Highlights:
- Learn leadership fundamentals in a structured, supportive environment
- Shadow YMCA camp counselors and assist with daily activities
- Gain exposure to future employment opportunities
- Build skills in communication, problem-solving, and responsibility
Eligibility:
- Open to rising 9th and 10th graders
- Completion of the application process required
