Young at Heart

Energize your body as you move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase flexibility, muscular strength and balance, along with light cardiovascular conditioning. 

When: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10:30-11:30 AM 
Where: Aerobics Studio
Session: April 5 - May 28, 2010

 Cost: FREE for Members; $40 for program participants

Registration: At the start of a new session, Members can register two weeks prior to the beginning of the session; Program Participants can register one week prior.

Muscular Strength and Range of Movement

The Silver Sneakers Fitness Program is an exercise program designed exclusively for the older adult (65 and older). Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity of daily living skills. Hand held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support. 

When: Tuesday and Thursday 1:45pm - 2:45pm
Where: Aerobics Studio
Sessions: June 1st - July 22nd & July 27th - September 16th

Cost: Free for Select Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Humana and Secure Horizons participants and YMCA Members; $35 for Program Participants per 8 week session.
