Weekly News - September 7th

Good Morning Hurricanes:

Make sure you are registered at the YMCA.  All new and returning swimmers must register.  Reminder – all new swimmers need to bring a copy of the birth certificate when they register.

There are three local official clinics coming up.  We would love to get more officials.  YBAC will pay for all USA Swimming membership of its officials.  If you are interested in becoming an official this is the first step.  If you are going to attend any of these clinics please let Todd Webber or myself know so we can let the referees giving the clinics an accurate count.

I have received the first shipment of Attraction Books.  They sell for $25 - YBAC get $10 for every book sold.  I have both Alamance County & Piedmont Triad (Greensboro Area) books - let me know how many you think you can sell.

Mark your calendars – Intrasquad Meet – September 11th!  Our Team vendor will be at the intrasquad meet.  You can purchase swim team equipment from them or through our website – www.acymca.org go to programs, then aquatics, then swim team, then YBAC.  On the left hand side of the page is a link to our vendor (All-American) and a link to Swim Outlet.  Swim Outlet is a great place to get equipment, and by going through our webpage YBAC earns money.  All-American is the only place to get the team suit with our logo imprinted.

I am taking orders for personalized swim caps.  If you would like to purchase 2 Team Silicone Caps (Red) with our logo and the swimmer’s name (only first or last, not both) the cost is $25.00 for two.  Please let me know and what name you would like on the cap.
