ARC Lifeguard Certification
Lifeguarding is a challenging, rewarding and important job. This American Red Cross Course will provide participants with a professional certification recognized at most organizations across the country. The course and the job require hard work, determination and above-average maturity. You will gain confidence, improve decision-making and build customer service skills.
Students must be 15 years old by the last day of class. Not just for youth – we’d love to train adults as well!
2012 Course Sessions:
- February 10th, 11th, 17th – 19th
- March 9th, 10th, 16th – 18th
- April 13th, 14th, 20th – 22nd
- May 4th, 5th, 11th – 13th
Times for Each Session:
- Fridays from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Saturdays from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Sundays from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Cost is $200.00 per session and includes Lifeguard Manual, Pocket Mask, First Aid Training Packet and Red Cross Certification Cards.
Pre-Requisites are the ability to swim 300 yards, tread water for 2 minutes using legs only and pass the “Brick Test.”
